May 2020 LGBT Events in Ft Lauderdale

On this Blog, I will post a highlight of some of the LGBT non-profit and political events that are going on in Ft. Lauderdale each month, so folks who want to attend can put them on their Calendars. Friday, May 1 – Queer As Folk Reunion - "May Day Home Stay Gay Play, Hosted by CenterLink: The Community of LGBT Centers -  2 p.m.   We are very excited to announce that this Friday, May 1, CenterLink and the cast of Queer as Folk to present “May Day Home Stay Gay Play: The 20th Anniversary QAF Cast & Crew Reunion Event to Raise funds for CenterLink - The Community of LGBTQ+ Centers”. We’ll also raise important funds for CenterLink and its network of over 250 local community centers in the U.S. and around the world. The event will take place LIVE on Friday, May 1st, at 11 a.m. PT/2 p.m. ET on YouTube. Scott Lowell, who played Ted, will host the event that will feature actors Sharon Gless, Peter Paige, Michelle Clunie, Hal Sparks, Randy Harrison and Robert Gant, alongside creators

March 2020 LGBT Events in Ft Lauderdale

Tuesday, March 3  –  Equality Florida Broward Equality Connection    –   5:30 PM – 7:30 PM. Whale's Bar & Grill, 3537 Galt Ocean Dr, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33308. Please join us for our Broward Equality Connection on Tuesday, March 3rd at Whale's Bar & Grill. Stop by to mix, mingle, and enjoy delicious lite bites, drink specials, and a raffle. This will be a fun event, open to all! On hand will be our local South Florida leadership team to let you know what's next in the fight for full equality in the midst of this contentious legislative session.
