Sawgrass Lanes, 8501 North University Drive, Tamarac, FL. – Formerly, Poverello's bowlathon, Bowling to Fight Hunger is a high energy fun charity bowling event. Teams consist of 5 bowlers each. Register, form a team and start raising money to fight hunger. National Gay and Lesbian Task Force Miami Recognition Dinner. – 6:30pm -
Midnight. The Miami Recognition Dinner is an important South Florida
tradition. It not only allows the LGBT community and its supporters to
celebrate our heroes, it also provides a vital source of funding for the
community on the local and national levels. The 17th Annual Miami Recognition
Dinner, will return to the spectacular Sparkle Ballroom of the Fontainebleau
Miami Beach. The evening features two cocktail receptions (one for VIP guests),
