Sunday, November 3 – Task Force Fort Lauderdale Event – 4:30 PM – 7 PM. Please join us for dinner and cocktails at the home of Dr. Evan Dillon & Roy Waldron. We will be honoring Lee Rubin, a treasured leader in South Florida's LGBTQ Community, for his role as Senior Manager of Diversity and Inclusion at Citrix. Task Force Executive Director Rea Carey will share updates on the Task Force's leadership in the resistance against the current administration and how we will persevere to win lived equality for LGBTQ people and their families. Friday, November 8 – SunServe Silver Serve Luncheon – 11:00am – 1:00pm (Second Friday of the Month). ArtServe, 1350 E. Sunrise Blvd. Fort Lauderdale, FL. Every Second Friday of the Month. SunServe is a model 501(c)(3) nonprofit social service agency serving the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Questioning (LGBTQ) community in South Florida. We provide high quality, compassionate, and progressive care for all, including those in financial need, minorities, youth, seniors, families, and those with life-challenging physical or emotional conditions. Our Fund Foundation, in partnership with Equality Florida, is proud to announce the 9th Annual National LGBTQ Leadership Forum. We have convened a panel of visionary leaders positioned at the forefront of the national and state LGBTQ equality movements.

Wednesday, November 20 – Transgender Day of Remembrance – 7:00pm – 9:00pm. The Pride Center, 2040 N. Dixie Hwy, Wilton Manors. This worldwide annual candle lighting observance honors the memory of those whose lives were lost in acts of anti-transgender bigotry and violence. On Sunday, December 1st at 6:30 pm, we invite our community to come together for a World AIDS Day Vigil and Remembrance Walk. We will meet at Hagen Park and walk down Wilton Drive united in memory, healing, and love. The candlelit walk will culminate at The Pride Center for a few words of respectful remembrance, support, and continued vigilance.
