On this Blog, I will post a highlight of some of the LGBT non-profit and political events that are going on in Ft. Lauderdale each month, so folks who want to attend can put them on their Calendars.

Sunday, December 1 – World AIDS Day Vigil and Remembrance Walk 2019 – 6:30- 8:00pm. Hagen Park/City Hall, 2020 Wilton Drive, Wilton Manors, FL. On Sunday, December 1st at 6:30 pm, we invite our community to come together for a World AIDS Day Vigil and Remembrance Walk. We will meet at Hagen Park and walk down Wilton Drive united in memory, healing, and love. The candlelit walk will culminate at The Pride Center for a few words of respectful remembrance, support, and continued vigilance. Sunday, December 8 –  South Florida Pride Wind Ensemble and Sunshine Cathedral – 7 PM – 9 PM. Sunshine Cathedral 1480 SW 9th Ave, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33315. Please join the South Florida Pride Wind Ensemble as we present "Simple Gifts", a special holiday concert, at the Sunshine Cathedral.  The evening will be filled with festive music and holiday classics.  Tickets are only $25 and can be purchased through the link below. Wednesday, December 11 – Dolphin Democrats Meeting – Second Wednesday of Each Month. 7:00pm. The Pride Center, 2040 A North Dixie Highway, Wilton Manors, FL. 7:00 pm – Pizza and social. 7:30 pm – Meeting. “Further, it shall be the mission of this organization to foster good will between gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) members of the Democratic Party and the community at large. Friday, December 13 – SunServe Silver Serve Luncheon – 11:00am – 1:00pm (Second Friday of the Month). ArtServe, 1350 E. Sunrise Blvd. Fort Lauderdale, FL. Every Second Friday of the Month. SunServe is a model 501(c)(3) nonprofit social service agency serving the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Questioning (LGBTQ) community in South Florida. We provide high quality, compassionate, and progressive care for all, including those in financial need, minorities, youth, seniors, families, and those with life-challenging physical or emotional conditions.
