Thursday, May 30 – Lambda Legal Fort Lauderdale Mixer  –  5:00pm - 7:00pm. Galanga, 2389 Wilton Drive, Wilton Manors, FL. Join fellow supporters for a mix-and-mingle evening of fun, appetizers, and an update on Lambda Legal's work! Guests will enjoy special happy hour pricing of beer, wine and a specialty sake martini out on Galanga's gorgeous patio. Thursday, June 13  – Ft. Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce Gay and Lesbian Business Xchange (GLBX) Oakland Park Wilton Manors Luncheon– 11:30 am - 1:30 pm. Hugh's Catering, 4351 NE 12th Terrace, Oakland Park 33334. Broward County's premiere gay-friendly networking organization, maximizing our members business profitability. Friday, June 14 –LGBT and Allies Youth Night with the Marlins  – 5:30pm – 10:30pm. The Miami Marlins are teaming up with the South Florida Gay News and the You Can Play organization to have an LGBT and Allies Youth Night when the Marlins host the St. Louis Cardinals on Friday, June 14 at 7:10 PM. There will also be a social mixer with guest speakers one hour prior to the game. This exclusive mixer will be located in the Press Conference Room and only those who purchase through this offer will have access to the pregame event. The mixer will be from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM. A portion from each ticket sold will benefit six youth-centered organizations (The Pride Center, Pridelines, Safe Schools, Sun Serve, Youth Pride Band of South Florida, National Voices for Equality Education and Enlightenment (NVEEE), and The Alliance for GLBTQ Youth). Saturday, June 15 – The South Florida Pride Wind Ensemble  The South Florida Pride Wind Ensemble will perform works from your favorite American composers including Copland, Gershwin, Sousa, and more. Jazz, rock, western, pop and Broadway hits will be played. Special guest performers and visual presentations will make this a dynamic show you won't want to miss. See you there! Wednesday, June 17 – The Equality Garden Club – The Equality Park Garden Club meets every 3rd Wednesday of the month except December.  It is a Gay and Straight friendly garden club with a variety of plant related events.  Meetings include a guest speaker with a horticultural topic, plant exchange, raffle table, and refreshments.  May 11 we have a ramble to nurseries in Homestead on a chartered bus and seats are still available. Saturday, June 22  – Stonewall National Museum & Archives Reception to Pass The Baton From Our Founder To Our New Leader – 6:00 - 8:00 PM. 2282 Wilton Drive, Wilton Manors, FL. Please join Stonewall National Museum & Archives, for a private reception from to welcome SNMA founder Marc Silber as he passes the baton to our new Executive Director David Jobin. Have an opportunity to meet with our Founder and learn about Stonewall's begginnings and original concept.  Meet our new Executive Director and share with him your vision for the future of Stonewall. This event is part of our 40th Anniversary National Tour which will continue with the Pop Up Museum at the Wilton Manor Pride Fest from June 19-23 on Wilton Drive during Stonewall Summer Pride. The next stop will be at the NYC Pride March on June 30 where we will proudly march in front of an estimated 1.6M attendees. These events provide SNMA an opportunity to broaden its reach and strengthen public awareness of our mission  to document, explore and honor the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender past, while striving to inform  and engage present and future generations. Saturday, June 22 & Sunday, June 23– Stonewall Summer Pride –Stonewall Summer Pride 2013 - Journey Toward Equality is a two day event!  It all starts on Saturday, June 22nd, 2013 the street will close and the party gets started at 6 p.m. with DJ's spinning your favorites until the Stonewall Summer Pride Parade gets started at 7:30 p.m. When the parade completes DJ Kidd Madonny takes over the stage to wow the crowd with his unique musical style and his incredible laser light show. On Sunday, June 23rd, the big event gets started at 11 a.m. with our 2013 Street Festival, Market Place, Kid's Zone and much more!  Entertainment will continue on the main stage throughout the day followed by the Stonewall Summer Pride Concert at 7:30pm. http://www.stonewallsummerpride.com/
