yourself and chat with fellow attendees in a social setting. There may be a

Equality Florida Fall Mixer for Major Donors – 6:00pm-8:00pm. This is final
Florida Council Mixer of the year and one you don’t want to miss! We will be
joined by State Representative Joe Saunders who will update us on his first
year in Tallahassee and the many developments in the fight for LGBT equality in
Florida. Our Florida Council Mixers are special appreciation events for you,

Tuesday, October 8 – Mack Mixer Fort

Wednesday, October 16 – The Equality Garden Club – The Equality Park Garden Club meets
every 3rd Wednesday of the month except December. It is a Gay and straight
friendly garden club with a variety of plant related events. Meetings
include a guest speaker with a horticultural topic, plant exchange, raffle

Legislative Town Hall – 6:00pm – 9:00pm. Wilton
Manors City Hall, Commission Chambers, 2020 Wilton Drive, Wilton Manors, FL
33305. Hosted by Representative Perry Thurston, House Democratic Leader, will
be hosting a legislative town to hear from LGBT Floridians on legislative
matters as state legislators return to Tallahassee for another legislative
session. Other state legislators will be invited and the town hall will be an
official function of the Representative's office and not a partisan activity.

Saturday, November 9 - National Gay and Lesbian Task Force Miami
Recognition Dinner. – 6:30pm - Midnight. The Miami Recognition Dinner is
an important South Florida tradition. It not only allows the LGBT community and
its supporters to celebrate our heroes, it also provides a vital source of
funding for the community on the local and national levels. The 17th Annual
Miami Recognition Dinner, will return to the spectacular Sparkle Ballroom of
the Fontainebleau Miami Beach. The evening features two cocktail receptions
(one for VIP guests), a sit-down dinner, a silent auction, an awards ceremony,

Equality Florida's Annual Broward Gala – Waterfront Terrace at Pier 66. You are cordially invited to join
