March 1 – Monday, March 6 - National LGBTQ Task Force Winter Party Festival
2017 – Miami Beach. Back in 1994, our founders decided to kick
up their heels and invite the LGBTQ community to party on the sands of South
Beach. More than twenty years later, that one night has become an iconic
six-day celebration of people – all kinds of people from all over the globe –
who come together to learn, live, love, laugh and forge lifelong relationships.
With over 12,500 guests from around the world attending six days of events, the
scale of Winter Party Festival is inspiring. But the sense of welcome is warmly
personal and sincere. Regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, age,
race, ethnicity or belief, anyone and everyone is made to feel comfortable and
at home. Winter Party Festival is that
place where for one week, the world is full of acceptance and love. And we can take a deep breath of the ocean
air and clear our heads. Fill our
hearts. Engage our minds. Kick up our
heels. And return to everyday life
happier, stronger, wiser, and ready to ignite the world.
