events that are going on in Ft. Lauderdale each month, so folks who want to
attend can put them on their Calendars.
Thursday, Aug. 2 – GLLN Social
Luncheon – 11:45am
- 1:15pm. Tee Jay Thai Sushi, 2254 Wilton Drive, Wilton Manors. Monthly
luncheons are on the first Thursday of every month. The mission for the gay
& lesbian lawyers network is to provide a social network in which gay, lesbian
and gay friendly lawyers can develop their practices through friendships,

Saturday, Aug. 4 – PBCHRC Summer
Soiree – 7:30pm –
9:30pm. National Croquet Center, West Palm Beach. PBCHRC supporters, elected officials and
candidates for office will gather once again to party at our Summer
Soirée. Tickets at $100 per person include an open bar and passed hors

Serve Luncheon –
11:00am – 1:00pm (Second Friday of the Month). ArtServe, 1350 E. Sunrise Blvd.
Fort Lauderdale, FL. Every Second Friday of the Month. SunServe is a model
501(c)(3) nonprofit social service agency serving the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual,
Transgender, and Questioning (LGBTQ) community in South Florida. We provide
high quality, compassionate, and progressive care for all, including those in
financial need, minorities, youth, seniors, families, and those with
life-challenging physical or emotional conditions. We also perform numerous

Bingo – Second Saturdays

Collins Ave., Miami Beach, FL 33140. The National LGBTQ Task Force Gala – Miami
is an important South Florida tradition. It allows the LGBTQ community and its
supporters to honor our heroes, while at the same time providing a vital source
of funding for the community on both the local and national levels. The event
is produced by the National LGBTQ Task Force, the oldest national organization
dedicated to achieving equality for LGBTQ people, and also benefits dozens of
organizations serving the Miami-Dade LGBTQ community. The National LGBTQ Task
Force is proud to announce longtime South Florida activists and philanthropists
Charles Million and Tim Nardi will receive the 2018 Eddy McIntyre Community
Service Award. The evening features a cocktail reception, a sit-down dinner, a

the Task Force –

administration and how we will persevere to win lived equality for LGBTQ people
