Thursday, Dec 6 – GFLGLCC Quarterly Networking Luncheon– 11:30am - 1:00pm Thasos, 3330 Oakland Park Blvd., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308. Join us as the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitor's Bureau presents the GFLGLCC- Greater Fort Lauderdale LGBT Chamber of Commerce Holiday Networking Luncheon at the beautiful Thasos Greek Taverna. The chef at Thasos will create a wonderful 3-course plated lunch, served with sparkling or still water. GFLGLCC Members: $40. Friday, Dec 7 – SunServe Silver Serve Luncheon– 11:00am – 1:00pm (Second Friday of the Month). ArtServe, 1350 E. Sunrise Blvd. Fort Lauderdale, FL. Every Second Friday of the Month. SunServe is a model 501(c)(3) nonprofit social service agency serving the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Questioning (LGBTQ) community in South Florida. We provide high quality, compassionate, and progressive care for all, including those in financial need, minorities, youth, seniors, families, and those with life-challenging physical or emotional conditions. Saturday, Dec 8 – Pride Center Bingo– Second Saturdays of Each Month. 6:30 p.m. doors open; 7:30 p.m. Pride Center, 2040 N. Dixie Hwy, Wilton Manors. Main Hall, Schubert Building. Bingo; proceeds benefit The Pride Center. The cost is $15.00 for the Bingo Package.  There will be a concession stand open and there is a 50/50 raffle. Tuesday, Dec 11 – Pride Center Founders Circle Reception– 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Riva 1180 N Federal Hwy, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304. Guests are encouraged to donate an unwrapped new

Wednesday, Dec 12 – Dolphin Democrats Holiday Party – Second Wednesday of Each Month. 7:00pm. J. Saturday, Dec 15 – Pet Project Christmas Dinner and Benefit Show– United Church of Christ, 2501 NE 30th Street. Recreation Hall directly behind Smarty Pants Bar off Middle River Drive. 6:00pm Cocktails. 7:00pm Dinner with all the trimmings. 8:00pm Show starring Electra. Tuesday, Dec 18 – Our Fund Foundation's Fall 2018 Grant Reception– 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. New River Fine Art Gallery, 822 E. Las Olas Blvd. Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301. Tuesday, Dec 18 – GFLGLCC Holiday Mixer on the River Queen 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM. The River Queen will be docked at the Bahia Mar Yachting Center, 801 Seabreeze Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316. Join us for the December Holiday Mixer for the GFLGLCC - Greater Fort Lauderdale LGBT Chamber of Commerce on the River Queen Riverboat. Dress:  Cool and casual. You'll enjoy:​

Every fourth Monday of the month, SAGE men meet at Tropics for cocktails, dinner and lively conversation. March LGBT Events in Ft. Lauderdale

On this Blog, I will post a highlight of some of the LGBT non-profit and political Events that are going on in Ft. Lauderdale each month, so folks who want to attend can put them on their Calendars. With that in mind, here are the events I want to highlight for March 2013: March Events: Friday, March 1 – Opening Reception for Stonewall National Museum & Archives Exhibit – 6:00pm – 8:00pm Stonewall National Museum & Archives,1300 East Sunrise Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale. Opening reception of photo essay by local media artist Kim Cohane featuring profiles of creative LGBTQ youth. Kim and many any artists depicted will be present.
